Day 34 of 56 · India (Week 1 of 3) — the quiet under-eating day

Protein Floor
2g × 60.5kg = 121g · range 120–150g
Fat Ceiling
1g × 60.5kg = 60g floor · 80g ceiling
Carbs (derived)
[2400 − (150×4) − (80×9)] / 4 = 270–345g
Water Target
3.0L pure water daily · non-negotiable
73 SCORE
Looks clean, actually under-fuelled
644 kcal and 104g of carbs under target — the biggest shortfall of the batch. Fat looks fine at 72g, but only because every meal was scaled down, not because of good choices. This is the compliance-mask pattern.

30-Day Mark · Days 26–34 Review
Where We Actually Stand, Day 34 of 56
Phase 1 crossed its 30-day mark on July 8th — we're now 61% through the 56-day muscle-build block. Zooming out across the last nine tracked days (July 4–12): the Dubai stretch (Jul 4–10) averaged a strong 88.9, with only one rough day (Jul 5, a heavy multi-dessert evening). The moment India travel started on Jul 11, score dropped into the low 70s for two straight days — exactly the pattern you predicted when you flagged "erratic because of not staying alone and social life in general." That's a good sign in one specific way: you saw it coming, which means this isn't a surprise slip, it's a known and named risk we can actively manage rather than react to.

Next Steps for the Remaining India Weeks
  1. One rich item per meal, not per day. Jul 11's fat overrun (+66%) came from two rich items — kachori breakfast and butter paneer dinner — landing on the same day. The one-rich-item rule needs to become a one-rich-item-per-day rule while you're eating three home-cooked or restaurant meals a day instead of your usual Dubai rotation.
  2. Set a standing water reminder for the India leg. 1.2L two days running is the lowest of the entire tracked period. Not staying alone genuinely changes bottle access — a phone reminder every 2 hours is a low-effort fix that doesn't depend on remembering.
  3. Keep the shake as your one non-negotiable. Even on your most chaotic day (Jul 11), protein still landed at 118g — one point short of a floor that's otherwise very hard to hit around home-style Indian meals. Don't let this slip just because everything else is less structured.
  4. Watch for the "quiet under-eating" days, not just the rich ones. Jul 12 looked clean on fat (72g) but was actually 644 kcal and 104g of carbs under target — a mask pattern, not a win. A day that looks compliant because portions were small isn't the same as a day that's actually on-plan.

Nice, lighter lunch choice — avocado toast reads well on paper, but note these were small crostini portions, not full bread slices, which is part of why today runs short overall.
